Ever since Mark Friis described the 8:30 ride from Cafe Royale as a "social" ride a month ago, we have had a marked increase in participation. The ride is generally 30-45 miles with 1500-3600' of elevation gain/loss and we have had 8-13 riders for the past month. The rides are demanding, but I guess is "social" in that we regroup frequently and never drop riders. Starts at 8:30 Tuesday and Thursday mornings sharp at the corner of Vine and Cajon and generally ends by 11:00-11:30AM.
